5 Ethical Clothing Brands For Kids

If you follow me on instagram, you know that I LOVE supporting sustainable brands who incorporate ethical practices into their business.

These are 5 of my favorite brands when shopping for ethically-made clothes for the kiddos:

Patagonia

If you’ve heard of Patagonia, you’ve probably associated this brand with outdoor clothing like coats and jackets for adults. To my surprise, their kids line is not only adorable, but DURABLE. Patagonia is a brand I have always loved and supported due to their sustainability and their ethical standards as a company. The kids line is perfect when you’re looking for recycled or non-toxic materials.

Will & ivey

I was introduced to Will & Ivey at an Oktoberfest celebration in Nashville back in 2018. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the owners, and getting to have a first-hand look into who they are as a company. Their clothes are also some of the softest, and well-made clothes we’ve ever owned. You can even find a matching outfit for yourself sometimes!!

pact

From the moment this company began in my home state of Colorado, I have been a huge fan of their products! PACT is a go-to for all of our basics like underwear, leggings, and t shirts for the whole family. The kids clothes are an easy favorite of mine, and their kids leggings are a huge hit for us. goumi kids

I was on a hunt for a well-made sweater for Lenni, and I found Goumi Kids. They were having a great sale on sweaters, so of course, I had to buy two. Goumi uses a blend of 30% organic cotton and 70% eco- friendly sourced bamboo from viscose that is manufactured in a closed-loop process(meaning that all liquid is recycled and all solvents are captured and removed to ensure that the process is as eco-friendly as well). Marine layer

I had NO idea this brand made clothes for kids until I walked into their Nashville location and found a little section of the cutest kids clothes. While some of their locations do not carry their kids line, you can shop by clicking here

Of course, my favorite way to sustainably shop for kids fashion is secondhand. Stores like KidtoKid and Once Upon A Child are some of my favorites. We all know that kids grow out of things SO fast, so spending a lot of money on things that they’ll wear for maybe six months seems very expensive. Buying used is a perfect solution for not only sustainability, but your wallet.
